Welcome to the Gippsland Vehicle Collection Motor Museum, and our outstanding display of special cars, motorbikes, machinery, historic vehicles and auto memorabilia plus Model World Maffra.
Our feature exhibits change every four months – ensuring a fresh and exciting display for new and returning visitors – and launch with a display day where everyone is invited to bring along their special vehicles to show in the Museum grounds.
Bring your friends and family, use our new barbecue facilities or have lunch at one of Maffra’s many cafes, hotels and bistros, and make it a great day out!

Every visit is different

Every four months the Gippsland Vehicle Collection transforms into a new display theme so you are always in for something new every time you visit. And not forgetting Model World, model railway and our rail exhibits in the restored guards van.
Our Museum is ideal for:

GVC RETAIL SHOP
You can takeaway a memory of your visit by purchasing a souvenir from our retail shop. With the wide range of merchandise available there is something for everyone. Our related products can also make an unique birthday or Christmas gift.
The retail gift shop at the Gippsland Vehicle Collection stocks a variety of automotive collectibles, souvenirs, and motoring memorabilia.
BBQ Area / Pitstop Cafeteria
Self contained BBQ area is available to visitors as well as refreshments in the Pitstop Cafeteria.
Pitstop was named after the late Ron Pitt, one of the Founding Members of the Maffra Shed and a tireless worker and advocate for GVC.
Camping within the Grounds
GVC allows self-contained travellers to camp in the grounds of the Motor Museum for up to 72 hours.
Note: Self-contained vehicles only as there are no toilet facilities available.
